I have problems synchronizing trip data. How long should it take after 15km to sync. trip data? It counts to more then 3 minutes and the the program force closes.
I found that if I have already erased all data and then do just one journey, you have to switch the Speedict/battery off and then on again to make an end of the file otherwise there are no completed files to sync because the file for the journey just done is still open. Is this what causes your problem?

Thanks of the suggestion, i leave the speedict always on. Only when i dont use the bike for a few weeks i will throw the main switch, but that has not happened yet.
I will give it a try with switching of.

bought one last night after i bought my CAV3, so now it's a race to see who gets here first (think you will win b/c  )

Probably should have download the droid app and checked that it worked first, but eh.

Also is 24s fully charged over the safe operational voltage?

Not that big an issue as I have a few builds and was thinking of putting this on a 36/48V bike in the long term

For 24s Lixx battery pack voltage excess the limit 80v

Didn't you say before that someone was running it on 100V successfully?

~100V on full charge

even 20's is pushing it, maybe if i charge cells to 4V :p

no biggy it's bought for a lower voltage buid :|

edit: also anyone used it with a https://motoactv.com/

My phone is Samsung Galaxy S2.

can you tell me the android version ?

It's 4.0.4, a custom rom.

I did not have the chance to erase the speedict from the pc yet. I have to open up the controlbox and i will also connect the throttle and pas cable then.

Yes the latest official rom from android is 4.0.3, can you confirm your 4.0.4 can pair and live view with speedict ebike ?

Yes 80v is our suggested limit, sometimes components can survive more than that if you can make sure no inrush or spike, also 24s fully charged will excess 100v right?

Well... I charge at 12S up to 49V... so my 24S pack will be (not finished with build) 98V and I plan on using an inrush circuit too. I would like to be able to use it on both of my bikes (new one will be 24S... current one is 12S)

what kind of battery you mention ? 4.08v per cell when fully charged ?

it is interesting, so you stop charging cell when reached 40.8v ? or your charger has problem ? why don't you fully charge cell up to 12.6v ?

I ordered a bulk charger from BMSBattery to charge to 49V at the pack, to extend life of the packs and maintain a safe margin.

why don't you charge it up to 4.2 or 4.1v per cell, i think that's better for your pack because internal resistance of cell is much smaller than 4.08v and less heat generated with high internal resistance ....

Hello Danny, I juts received the speedict today!! (So quick! :))

Just tell me when you received mine so I can know what caused the speedict to fail. If it was due to the temp sensor or not.

Obviously I'm not going to plug my mac temp sensor until I know what's the cause of the failure

yes, don't try the temperature sensor until we confirm it.

Mine took about eight days though only about four-five days once they had posted it.

Its still sitting in its box waiting to be powered up :(

Regards

Jerry

Danny,

Do you have any timeline for Android 4.0.4 compatibility? Speedict only works with my old phone right now.
