In that case you must ask yourself if it is the right display to flash..... my connector is not identical (my screen is 860C V1.2).
You mean that the 860C fits without any connector modification? So it is a display specific for Tongsheng?... finally I connected to the 8 pin câble (out of motor), connect on the screen and the throttle....
I use a later version (v20.1C.4-LCD3 update 3) than you and had the same issue more than once of seeing average speed instead of current speed. Each time it was my fault by inadvertently selecting average speed while configuring the menu buttons. This screenshot of the odometer field page is from my LCD3 manual. Maybe it also apply to your version?Hello.
I use TSDZ2 with KT-LCD3, assembled and flashed in 2019. I have been using the open software version 0.18.2 since the first use. This version is uploaded to both the display and the controller.
A year ago, I suddenly had a problem: from one day to the next, the average speed started to be displayed instead of the current speed. I think that maybe someone, for fun or out of ignorance, entered the configuration menu while I was away in a closed company parking lot and changed some parameter. But I am pretty sure that it wasn’t the case. Over this time, I have tried to dig into the settings several times and changed the parameters, but nothing worked. The problem occurred after about 5000 km, and currently, I have less than 6000 km on the ODO.
I am attaching a photo of the display at a standstill, indicating the average speed. I would like to restore the current speed display. If you have any experience with such an error, please let me know here.

Note: Group 7, option 0 is current wheel speed. Option 1 is average speed
edit: With LCD3 you should have posted to this thread instead TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102. ?

On my LCD3 (as per my manual), short press the UP button followed by long press of UP button will cycle between average speed and current speed. Try that, maybe it works the same on your's?Thank you for your reply.
Group 7, option 0 is "Startup Boost function" in my software version:

So still don't now how to change. But... after your message I've noticed something what can be related to forcing average speed instead of current wheel speed. When I am going though ON/Off buton by next menu I see 7.1 (photo), not 7.0 which is in manual "7.1 Average wheel speed: The average speed since power on."
I would like to change to "7.0 Current wheel speed: Current wheel speed.".
So, how to force system to display 7.0 or somewhere also current wheel speed in any of fields?
Regarding place of posting: I've did it by mistake, please (admin) move the discussion there, thanks.
Happy to hear it worked! The settings menu is not intuitive. With only 3 buttons, they have to use combination of short and long presses.Awesome, you made my day!
I’ve used this software for years (since 2019) and been in the settings menu many times, but I never knew a double tap up short and long would change the subparameter.
