Would anyone be able to tell me how much battery current a em150 can continuously handle? I’ll be running a battery at 200A continuous and not sure if I can run a 150 or bump to a 200 or 260. Thx

You can use the biggest battery, you can afford.

The controller should be capable of supplying enough current to the motor.

Hello to all, a im back, bought new em80gts votol witn CaN interface and found weird think like that in soft dont working voltage monitoring and etc..... can't understand Why.... Reading and flashing controller is ok.... What IAM doing wrong?

Votol EM50-4 HELP! 2k watt motor, 72v 50a BMS. I cant seem to get a higher RPM no matter what i do. Ive changed the flux values. Weakening. Start rate. everything. nothing works, its capped at 1500rpm.

However, if i change the hall shift angle to -5, this gives me an excellent rpm of 1800+ and the amps spike to about 40+ then runs smoothly at about 20amps+- this is with NO LOAD.

The moment i put the bike down and try to ride it. The bike cant move and the motor makes a weird sound.

How do i increase MAX RPM and Amp for the motor?

Mine is set to 280A and it works great.
The BMS screen indicates a maximum of 307 amps under acceleration, so I can't say that the Votol monitors it very well.

I see... let's do something. Sometimes votol controller s gets corrupt. In this case, the best is download the firmware, then send a well known good config... as base config. Then tune the values. Give some email and i will send you the firmware .bin and my base config...
