Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

Interesting. Do you remember what settings you used for the device, such as the baud rate, 8 bit, no parity, etc? Which controller did you connect to and were you using serial or CAN Bus? Thanks for any tips you can share!

Mine is from dkys. I changed the bus bar amp to 100a, values for the three speed switch to 40,70,100, and did the self learning for my hall sensors, and the throttle ramping to 220. My son and I both rode around the yard a bit, it was fine, he was on the low setting at 40 amps, and was trying to pop wheelies, all was good, then he parked, the next day I went to get it out of the shed and it wouldn't do anything, over current faults when the throttle was touched or the wheel spun manually, then I had continuity between the power and yellow phase so I assumed the mosfets blew. This controller worked well at 48v, but when I upgraded the battery to 72v it died.

I think maybe the "gtr" is not up to the task.
Bro, im concerned about em100 gtr. Ive seen many faulty em100 gtr over the communities. If you know what mosfets are used, please tell us. Mine happened mos short right after increase phase current over factory values (from 9000 to 9600).
 
Good morning at all

After many time, finally I mounted the EM30S on my escooter with 10 inch hub motor.

After the setting all seems work well but I encountered a strange issue.

When I ride at full power to try to reach the max speed, the torque disappear randomly. When release the throttle and retwist, the torque came back but seem lower. After few second the torque return in a normally power strong

The temperature is not to high. Motor 75C and the controller is 62C.

Anyone have any idea to why I have this issue?

To be honest, this controller is not bad, but I expected more in speed. The escooter is 26kg, driver 110kg, motor is 1000w but I put in 35Amps. And 52v 38.4A battery. I have reached only 44km/h. With the old Chinese controller, put me on 56km/h. The difference is appreciable....

Update: I have the flux weak disable and seem work good. The controller put me on 48km/h. Now I need to found a solution to cooling better the controller. After 10km, the temperature rise up to 90c. After a cooling solution, I try to play with flux parameter.

Anyone have any suggestion about flux parameter for:
52v lion 38.4a battery
EM30S controller
10inch hub motor, 1000w, 10 pole pair, 1300rpm rated.

What the motor& 10 pole pair its very tiny.... classic 205 motor have 23 pole pair...

most scooter hub motor have 30 magnets = 15 pole pairs.. higher wattage have thicker stator.

Configure circunferencia (1987mm) 16Par y offset /10 (?). Cambió varios parámetros pero la pantalla sigue indicando 10-15km/h más de gps y recorrido en 10km sube a 11,4km.
No encuentro ningún ajuste correcto.
¿Alguna sugerencia, por favor...?

minimun offset is 5%, you have 10% offset (10% more speed on speedometer). You must discount this difference in your circunference.

With 10 pole pair, the motor spin well and have a torque to be espected, but spin at half rpm, and when you active the HDC with 1100rpm the result is a cut of power when reach the RPM limit. I think an another problem because the controller cut to half power in a shot, not gently.

I'm use the phone with a gps tachometer and notice that the controller cut at the same speed every time.
The result is the 50% of "calculated" speed.

Now, I'm ready to play with flux weakening 😁

well in my case i don't see any difference whatever pole pairs i used than varying the rpm calculation, i dont use rpm limiter so no change in actual speed. if the specs you posted is your motor specs yes it 10 pole pairs, i only see 20 magnets motors on geared hub motors, guess i dont see most of fthe variety of motors yet.

Hemmm, teorically the motor spec it for my motor. The old display controller has 10 pole set iside it. But work as expected with 20 pole pair. China mistery..!

Hi All, I have a 51V Nominal moped Max output 280A, Hub motor (silence s01) with Votol EM150/2
im programming to unlock top speed as its locked to 60mph from factory.
The motor starts to jump in speed above 1050rpm (around 67mph) and will jump anywhere between 67 and 80 without moving the throttle from the position its in.
Please see my settings below and let me know what im doing wrong, and how i can fix this issue.

GENTLEMEN, I HAVE AN URGENT PROBLEM. My controller stopped connecting to the computer after installing the wrong firmware in bin format. How can I reset it to factory firmware? or perhaps you have normal firmware in .bin format?!? Votol Em-70 controller, without CAN bus.

On the web I found another software that seems more truly.

I check the config import/export file and is identical a work better than the software that the seller send me (dun electric).

Я программирую, чтобы разблокировать максимальную скорость, так как на заводе она ограничена 60 милями в час.
Двигатель начинает резко набирать обороты после 1050 об/мин (около 67 миль в час) и будет набирать обороты в диапазоне от 67 до 80 без перемещения дроссельной заслонки из ее положения.
Пожалуйста, посмотрите мои настройки ниже и сообщите мне, что я делаю неправильно и как я могу исправить эту проблему.

On page 2 "HDC lowrst speed" 1000 change to 1200 or more. It not recommended, but maximum speed will be higher.
 
So, gentlemen. All those who downloaded a crooked firmware and the controller went into failure and does not want to connect. I found a solution, at least my Votol Em-70 now feels great. I crawled through a kilometer of forums in different languages and topics and found the firmware for the Em-50. Of course, at your own peril and risk, but if your controller has already gone to bed, then there is nothing to feel sorry for him.

The controller still has the ability to flash firmware even if it is not connected. The steps are the same as with replacing the configuration.

1.Connect the connector as usual.
2.Open the port.
3.Open the advance menu (arrow on the right)
4.Click "Open File" and select the firmware file that I am attaching below.
5. Click Download and wait for the installation to complete, marked by the letter “D” in the top field.

After installation is complete, click Connect...done)
