new tsdz8 pswpower

Unfortunately I tested and it's not compatible the diameter of the central hole is larger on the bafang and there is a slight offset for the screws
When in doubt, make bigger holes. I ordered a 52t stamped steel sprocket meant for bafang for 15 euros. If it won't work, then its not a huge loss. If its slightly off center(1 or 2mm), it shouldn't matter as the maximum rpm is still relatively low so it shouldn't transfer too much undulation to the slack side of the chain. I'll try to remember to post my results here.

i do not know what a j link is, i already have stlink v2 and i prefer to use that instead of wasting money on some random program device.
i hope some programming genius will look on this motor soon and help us, because apparently tongsheng doesn't want to

@danielnilsson9 We call on your help

Update: drilled out the holes to 6.5mm on the new front sprocket, mounted nicely with pretty much zero throw. The chain didn't need more links as it had the same amount of links as the original 48t the bike came with.

people do you think this lekkie bafang pressfit adapter could work on tsdz8? i want to buy full suspension bike 27.5 or 29 but almost all have pressfit bottom bracket

i asked lekkie the same question but they answered its designed for bbs . not sure why but maybe they meant thickness of the bb shell?

after comparison lockring from my bbshd and tsdz8 i think that they are different, tsdz8 has wider holes for screws by about 1cm so that adapter would not work i think

There is a new improved hex file from Tongsheng. It is supposed to be a considerable Improvement for the TSDZ8. The file can be obtained on the Facebook TSDZ8 group page. Endless sphere doesnot allow posting of files with the hex extension, so you will have to download it from the Facebook site.
Here is the link:

nobody has a google drive to post it ?
Rename this to hex. Maybe it will work. It was downloaded from facebokk and renamed to txt. I don't have a TSDZ8.

Not going to buy either the TSDZ8 or DM02 til they get stable firmware.

I guess this will never happen, they do not care, no proper manuals, way to upgrade a firmware, mess with screen units, lack of service parts. It does not look good. Also I have read already about torque sensor problems which is same as tsdz2b. They gained a lot of popularity thanks to open custom firmware, now this is lacking too so I do not forecast a bright future for them :)

I disagree. TSDZ8 IMHO is one of the best legal DIY mid drive motors available in UK. It is not ideal, but I don't see any better motors at this moment.

Also spare parts are slowly appearing on the market (so far I have seen controller).

2seven is doing better work I think, they are more open. There are bafang motors, and yes you need a special frame for them but they are much better. For retrofiting into the bike, yeah maybe in this price range it is very limited competition but still you might be happy because you have a good unit which did not break yet (QC is terrible at those too). It is just a lot of DIY to this motor and this approach does not fit all.

Only Toseven DM02 is road legal in UK and this motor is not exactly designed for mountain bikes. I wish them well, but Toseven practically does not exist in UK.

Bafang again has only one legal motor in BBS series - BBS01 which is quite old. I personally prefer torque than cadence sensor.

Last but not least TSDZ8 is much more powerful than BBS01 and DM02.

Tsdz8 is only slightly more powerful than dm02.
~1100W in peak vs ~800 in dm02.
Tsdz8 won't be legal with throttle.
Tsdz8 however is noticeable quieter than dm02.
Torque sensor in tsdz8 is the same junk like in tsdz2. People already report problems just after 1000km. On other hand. Blue gear in dm02 lasts for ~4000km when motor is being abused constantly above 500W.

Is it 36V 250W DM02 are you talking about?

It might be legal.

Biggest problem with DM02 250W is that it doesn't exist on local market in UK. There is no distribution and no service center. Not everybody is happy to import things directly from China as it means import fees and no warranty.

has anyone bought J Link v9 and successfully flashed Firmware? i see some for sale on AliExpress but im unsure if they will work.

Quelqu'un a-t-il acheté J Link v9 et a-t-il réussi à flasher le firmware ? J'en vois en vente sur AliExpress mais je ne suis pas sûr qu'ils fonctionnent.
Yes jlink v9 Aliexpress work :
