Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

i assumed the shunt would be gone, but it seems to have totally died and has a scorch mark on the paper inlay.

IC behind the usb port seems to have die

(I was the guy who emailed you about wholesale last week, figured I'd actually see what happens if a technician where to good an install, guess it would have been cheaper to ask first...lol)

the ic will be damaged when reverse polarity connected.

ah ok, any other components that are likely to be damaged or just that single IC, I wouldn't mind trying to fix it do you stock spares?

can you explain what is the function of this.
I dont understand and only hear a driverent sound when change.

the advantage of sinusoidal commutation, which includes lower audible noise, lower vibration and higher efficiency and sometimes allows a wider speed range ....

more on the attachment, enjoy it.

thank you for your offering ! however it wasn't our man power problem it was mcu issues ...

Ah. Not possible to make a 'small' update with a 'legal mode' as proposed...?

the problem is current version of speedict ebike is 99% full of programming space, that's why the new version we changed mcu and completely rewritten program with new algorithm that make program running 30% faster and programming space double in size for further upgrade.

there are 2 possible ways to archive such enhancement :

1. porting speedict ebike version 2 program to version 1 and trim out some features, but problem is what feature we can cut out ? and porting program involve huge workload .... and may need to send back to program upgrade rather than firmware upgrade ?

2. hardware upgrade plan .... for existing ebike version 1 customer a hardware upgrade plan :)

can discuss about it.

Difficult situation...

Ideal solution for me would be: Not change much to existing speedict 1 firmware/android client. But only add a candence matching option "xx:0", to just use PAS as throttle enabler. And a 6kmh higher (configurable) start power.
This will only require a few lines of code that will probably fit in the remaining 1%.
For the rest i think the speedict does what it is supposed to do.

I would not go with option 1 you propose, too much effort and you will always leave things out some user need.

Option 2 would always be nice to offer to your existing customers.

thanks for your comments :)

What nico say.
Te if you can change the xx:1 to xx:0 it is already better.
And more power for the 6km start. Is even better.

New Speedict Mercury, Mars and Venus are ready to ship now, we are working for the menus and calibrating tools ... new features includes built-in throttle control, lock, instant legal, speak up, reverse polarity protection, #12 wire gauge, 30% MCU faster, firmware upgrade via android (no need usb) etc. ...
