TSDZ2 OSF for all displays, VLCD5-VLCD6-XH18, LCD3, 860C-850C-SW102.

I have a TSDZ2B engine and I tried the firmware 1-20.1C.2-update-2. I set everything possible but in the end I returned to the original. The speed did not exceed 25 km and the walking support for 6 km was turned on and off at 2 second intervals. The original firmware supports up to 29 km and the walk goes continuously. There is 25 km off on VLCD5. I wanted a speed of 40 km, but it is not possible. Am I setting something wrong?

I noticed you have a 36V TSDZ2B. I have a 48V TSDZ2B with 20C.2-update-2.0. I've had the motor alone push my bike up to 36-38 km/hr. Did not try top speed with OEM firmware, Your desired speeds may not be possible,

I am seeing if my wife will appreciate riding a TSDZ2B on a 26" Giant bike conversion, It has the OSF firmware, and I've set it in E_mtb mode, but she rides with the assist set to Tour, because the higher settings intimidate her. She's only riding 10 mph, about 2-4 mph slower than what we do on cadence sensor 500W hubmotors. It's looking like torque assist is too much effort for my gal.

What do you think, should I default it to cadence mode on startup. I suppose I will try it myself first.

Why must she set Tour? She can see if Eco suits her more.
Otherwise set it to power mode, disable the boost function and lower the supportlevels for ECO and TOUR

Have you checked the torque sensitivity?
I don't see the calibration of it in your settings.
I have a torque sensitivity of 79-198. The engine responds well to pressure on the pedals. Only support is only up to about 25 km and walking 6 km is cycled on and off. Last time I used this setting but the speed didn't change.

That are reasonable values, but why not inserted these Values?

About the speed...
Strange... I don't see other reasons in your setup what could be the cause.

maybe 36v has this locked somehow ?
I know the v2 has a lock, but that is another not flashable controller, so you can't replace the firmware.

@Kovko
I can't imagine that it is possible to add a hardware lock for speed, but it made me curious were this Tsdz2 is bought and another question. Are you sure OSF is flashed?

I tried Hybrid Mode. It's brilliant. Gives the bike enough power for easy pedalling in ECO and can go all the way to max speed with harder pedalling in ECO. I think this will be what my wife likes in an ebike,

I am on version v.20.1c. Am I mistaken when I don't see any way to enable Hybrid as a default startup?

Am I mistaken you can tick the checkbox on the right lower corner of the screen ( image 2 post 2114 ) ?

edit: wait, that's a radio button not a checkbox..

. It's v1 and OSF is flashing. I returned the original. I bought the motor this year from PSWPOWER

Dumbo asked...."Am I mistaken when I don't see any way to enable Hybrid as a default startup?"

Haha, That's why I phrased it that way. Pretty sure I was missing something obvious. Thanks.

I had issues finding it as well, hence my surprise and edit. I thought it was a checkbox, but it's not it's a radiobutton inside the same panel but located very non-intuitively hence both our issue finding it ( and naming it correctly ).

Guess it would make more sense if the radiobutton was located in the same row as the other assistance settings, or even just at the start of the other settings ( so put it above 'walk assist' ).

Once you have created the .ini file with the javaconfigurator, how do you flash the motor? Do you use terminal and what are the commands? I am using macOS. Thanks
