Go direct. They do negotiate a bit.bgt said:eMax, I want to try the Bewo system also....do you have a link where to order them? Is the system adjustable through software like the Bafang?

Haha, LOL. Yeah posting with Tapatalk can be messy. Managed to remove it now.tomjasz said:opperpanter said:This thread is about the Bewo motor... Your video is already in the bafang thread.
 thanks for posting it again. Just what was needed. Sorry but I'm laughing.
Wh/km isn't a good way to measure efficiency
Do you have a working site link ?tomjasz said:Go direct. They do negotiate a bit.bgt said:eMax, I want to try the Bewo system also....do you have a link where to order them? Is the system adjustable through software like the Bafang?

I have been running this kit for a while now at 36v500w. Seems solid and decent 12-15Wh/km efficiency is being achieved on most rides. In comparison a BBS01 getting 9/10. I always do 3 laps of centennial park in Sydney to test efficiency (gently undulating and surfaced). I put this down to the extra level of reduction in the BAFANG. My biggest problem with BEWO is the cranks feel a bit 'cushy' to pedal. Does not feel as direct as a non powered bike or the Bafangs.
I have run with both the regular controller and a CA3/Infineon setup. Both work well but hard to dial the Grin combo to be as smooth as the stock controller with PAS.
If someone in Aus wants one of these I'm happy to send at my cost price (I bought a spare).
Great info. Could you compare the bbs01 and bewo kit a bit more?eMax said:I have been running this kit for a while now at 36v500w. Seems solid and decent 12-15Wh/km efficiency is being achieved on most rides. In comparison a BBS01 getting 9/10.

In particular, I would like to know whether the bewo kit is more silent than the bbs01. My bbs01 has a distinct whine from the engine when it runs at 80 RPM. I would guess that bewo does not have this, in especially when using a sinewave controller?
cjh said:eMax, is the BBS01 you are comparing with a 250W, 350W or 500W?
Thank you for the reply, but I am a bit disappointed. The BBS01 also has a metal-metal gear, so I hoped that the sine-wave controller would make it noticeable less loud.eMax said:I would definitely say the BEWO is noisier. It uses all metal gearing...

The quest for a silent mid-drive continues...

silent, great torque sensor, small, reliable unlike bafang.

Looks good. I like that it has an integrated controller. Who makes it? What are the specs and dimensions?
riba2233 said:It's made in Japan as far as I remember, but don't know any details, other than it's custom made. You should really see pictures in the ad (press that little magnifying glass above the picture and browse all 12 picture ) or send a mail to them.

Are you saying that your TOYOTA car has a different behavior compared to a FORD?
You should contact BEWO immediately, so you to return those KIT an be partially refunded.
Metal gears makes noise ? feel a bit 'cushy' to pedal? WHAT DID YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU SELECTED A 500W direct drive?
Definably the 250W BEWO KIT has less resistance to pedal with out power compared to 500W, but this is something to bother you only in a emergency situation.
Even with depleted battery to 95%, when the KIT it does cut-off for regular use, you may restart it and use only PASS 1 so this to absorb any mechanical resistance caused by the BEWO KIT gears system.
I have made 963 kilometers with my BEWO 250W KIT up to date, with out the slightest problem.
And I do sleep happy at nights by knowing that my fate with it will be totally different from others who selected Bafang Mid drives.

Yes more information. Hopefully it installs and doesn't mount like that silly Bewo mount.tahustvedt said:riba2233 said:Here you go:
